• One (1) “Funding the Future of Energy” scholarships totaling $2,500 will be awarded next year to an undergraduate or graduate student for Fall 2026.
• Open to students attending any accredited College or University in the United States.
• Must be a Senior in High School or actively pursuing their undergraduate/graduate degree with a focus in energy (engineering, finance, business, etc.) and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Must have 1 family member employed by a PFAA member company
• If there are multiple top scholarship applicants, the deciding factor will come down to an online interview via Microsoft Teams/Zoom for 20-30 minutes.

To apply students simply need to submit:

1. Three references, including contact information
2. Resume and academic transcript
3. One-page recommendation letter
4. Submit a two-page, double-spaced essay on the topic below:  “How does the energy industry positively affect your life or the lives of those around you?”
   a) AI can be a great tool for ideas or checking grammar, but the scholarship team is using this essay to get to know you and how energy affects your life. Please be specific and make the essay personal to you without the assistance of AI.

Applications due by April 1^st, 2026.
